Easter....very late!

This year Easter was a lot of fun with Abigail. We did a lot of crafts, egg dyeing, Easter egg hunt, and we had a big Easter lunch with some of the football players. Because of the big lunch and preparation, I totally forgot to take Easter Sunday pictures. I know, bad mommy, but I was busy. Maybe next year I can pull it all together!!!Painting eggs, a cross and rabbit.

Abby and Olivia at the hunt!

Easter egg hunt at the Mecks. It was a lot of fun with a lot of great friends!

Getting a few eggs!

Abby and HER Annie! Annie has been taking care of Abby since she was about 6 months old! Abby absolutely thinks that Annie is the best thing that has ever happened to her. Abby's first real baby doll was given to her on her first birthday and was named Annie. The only babydoll whose name has never changed. Annie is a precious young lady and a great role model to Abby. We love her and her wonderful family so much!
Sweet Laurie Claire! They look like they could be sisters!

Danny and the girls! They are so cute!!

Tea Party with Ru Ru

The day before Abigail's party Bethany and the kids came in to visit. The girls were playing and having a blast so Beth and I took Samuel with us to run some errands. When we came back home this is what we saw....three beautiful girls in dress-up clothes and hats eating strawberry and peanut butter sandwiches and lemonade. Ru Ru set them up a beautiful tea party. They were having so much fun. Once we were inside Ava told us that she wished we had not come back yet. It was hilarious. They did not want mommies interrupting their party. The girls and their party hats!

This is why we have play clothes!

Well, I really do not have to say much! The pictures tell the story. My princess who loves tea parties and dress up, also loves a good mud puddle!! After the rain the other day she grabbed her rain boots, put on her play clothes and went to jumping! She had so much fun. Needless to say our pink pants are now a brown, the socks were thrown away and the shirt is not white anymore!! That is ok....that is why we have play clothes!!!! Ready, set, JUMP

I love the dirt on her face!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!!

Danny and I have been so blessed with a wonderful, precious, active, talkative, imaginative, loving, beautiful...( oh, all the great adjectives one could use for their child) adorable little girl. She has brought so much joy into our lives! I am so thankful God has given us the greatest opportunity of our lives in rearing this precious child! Parenting is not easy, but it sure is fun! And boy does time fly!! I can remember as if it was yesterday, everything that happened on the day she was born. Now don't ask me about the few weeks after, but that day is one I hope I will never forget. We have been so blessed with such wonderful friends. We were so excited and blessed that they could join us in celebrating Abigail! It was a beautiful day at the park, a lot of children running around and wonderful cake to eat....who could ask for more!!

HAPPY FOURTH BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL!!!
I have tried to make little things about Abby's birthday parties a tradition. For instance, she was born on 5/5/05...so it being Cinco de Mayo, I always make the same mexican bean dip. Well, the past four years I have also made her outfit for her birthday and her cake. Well, this year I decided to let the tradition of the cake making go by the wayside. We all have strengths and weaknesses.....well cake making is not a strength of mine. So, I handed the reins over to my wonderful neighbor. She made this beautiful Hello Kitty cake for me. Abby absolutely loved it. The best part is that it tastes as good as it looks! She has a website that I have listed under my friends whereabouts..Southern Belle Cakes.
Can she blow them all out at once?

All of our wonderful friends! Aspyne, Emma and Abby

Rock-A- Bye Baby

OK, OK, OK, I know I have been really bad. But, it is truely not all my fault. I realize it has been pretty much over a month since I posted, and I have really good excuses. One of them is not that I did not have any pics. Actually that is one of the problems. I have about 250 on my camera! So, I have to get them all on my computer, and then I have to put them on a disc and take somewhere because my computer for some reason will not upload pictures to the internet. (Calling all Techies....help.) I have to find someone that will let me sit at their computer for a long time, or go to Danny's work. So....you see my dilema. The next few days I am going to play catch up for the last month and a half. I have to get caught up because Abigail is about to have a birthday and we all know that is a big deal. I will have to post those pictures right away! Abby loves to look at our blog and everyone elses. She will sit forever scrolling down the pictures of our sweet friends. So, here I go, a little at a time. Just bear with me and I promise to try and do a better job.

Rock-A- Bye Baby

Abigail is such a little momma. She loves her babies and would take them everywhere with her if I would let her. Sometimes I just give up and let the babies go to church, the YMCA, Bible study, the grocery store......you get my drift. Not only does the baby need to go, but the baby has to have a bag with all of the necessary baby stuff...diapers, bottle, blanket, snack......you understand. So, anyway, Danny and Abigail love to DANCE to really loud music. They often do this in the evenings while I am cleaning up from dinner. Well, one night they put on some lullaby music from when Abby was a baby. She about flipped. She ran into her room and got her doll, small rocker and baby blanket and rocked her baby for a very long time. Since then she has been known to get her cd out, put it in the cd player and rock her baby all on her own. Well, finally one Sunday while I was getting ready she was rocking her baby and I got a few pictures. I think it is so precious. I guess this probably means I need to have another one soon she can have a real one to play with!!!

Sweet Momma

Last time my parents were here my mom brought some things she bought for next fall and winter. One thing happened to be a night gown and matching doll gown. OOPS! We should have never shown Abby! She was so determined to wear the gown to bed...but it was so long...so of course Ru Ru, being the grandma she is....sewed up the hem while she was wearing it! It was so cute watching her help sew the gown and of course the proud little momma had to pose with her baby for a picture!

Helping Ru Ru sew!

Standing to make sure it is not too long!!!

Sweet girl and her baby!!!
